To make sure your shipment is delivered quickly and smoothly, it’s important to provide a complete and accurate address. An incomplete or incorrect address can cause delivery delays, extra charges, or even a return of the shipment.

Here are some simple best practices to help ensure your order reaches its destination without problems.

Address formats by Region

For GCC & Middle East orders

Please use the following format for GCC and Middle Eastern regions:
  • Country
  • City
  • Area
  • Street/Number
  • Floor/Flat Number
  • Nearest Landmark
Example:
  • Country: Qatar
  • City: Doha
  • Area: Al Sadd
  • Street/Number: Zone 39, Street 865, Villa 12
  • Floor/Flat Number: First Floor, Apartment 2
  • Nearest Landmark: Near Al Sadd Metro Station

For EU & US orders

For deliveries to Europe and the United States, please ensure your address includes:
  • Country
  • State
  • City
  • Street and House/Apartment Number
  • Postal Code

Example (US):
  • Country: United States
  • State: California
  • City: Los Angeles
  • Street and House/Apartment Number: 123 Main Street, Apt 4B
  • Postal Code: 90012

Common reasons for address correction fees (DHL)

You might be charged a fee for fixing the address if there are issues like:
  • Wrong or incomplete city or town details
  • Missing or incorrect ZIP or postal code
  • Recipient not available during business hours
  • Unknown or incorrect street names or numbers
  • Missing or wrong contact details
  • Change of location after the package is on its way

Important contact information required

To help ensure quick delivery, make sure to:
  • Contact number: Give a local mobile number so the 3PL can send tracking updates and the delivery person can call the recipient if needed.
  • Contact email address: Include an email for order updates and links for any required customs fees.

To prevent delays and extra costs, double-check your address against these guidelines before marking the order Ready for Collection.
