Quick Setup Checklist
✅ Configure product information with required data
✅ Set up fulfillment location for Quiqup inventory
✅ Configure shipping methods and pricing
✅ Map payment methods (pre-paid vs. cash-on-delivery)
Step 1: Product Configuration
Required Fields for Each Product:
| Field | Requirement | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Product Title | Required | Clear, descriptive product name |
| SKU Code | Required | Unique identifier for each product/variant |
| Barcode (EAN/UPC) | Required | If no barcode exists, barcoding fees apply |
| Product Images | Required | High-quality product photos |
| Price | Required | Your selling price |
| Cost Price | Required | For insurance claims on lost/damaged items |
| Weight | Required for International | Accurate weight in grams/kg |
| Dimensions | Required for International | Length x Width x Height |
| HS Code | Required for International | Harmonized System commodity code Resources: • HS Codes searchable on https://hts.usitc.gov/ • Pay service available through Dubai Trade Service Center |
| Country of Origin | Required for International | Manufacturing country |
Important: Each product variant must have a unique SKU code and barcode. If you are on WooCommerce, ensure that the parent product doesn't have the same SKU codes as the variants.
Example:
- T-Shirt Red Size M: TSH-RED-M
- T-Shirt Red Size L: TSH-RED-L
⚠️ Critical: Quiqup needs to be informed of any changes made to SKU information above after the initial integration. Without doing so, your inventory will not synchronize accurately to your platform and orders for those SKUs will not be fulfilled.
Shopify Products Additional Setup Guide +
- Ensure "track quantity" is enabled so that Quiqup can sync stock back to Shopify
Helpful Resources (Shopify):
WooCommerce Products Additional Setup Guide +
- Ensure you tick "manage stock" so that Quiqup can sync stock back to WooCommerce
- Add product dimensions and weight in the "shipping" tab
- Add product HS Codes, Country of Origin and other information in the "attributes" tab
Helpful Resources (WooCommerce):
Step 2: Fulfillment Location Setup (Shopify only)
Note: This only applies to Shopify. WooCommerce doesn't natively support locations. If you are on WooCommerce and need Quiqup to fulfill only certain orders, we will go over the settings/parameters during your integration call.
Key steps:
- Go to Settings → Locations
- Click "Add location"
- Name it "Quiqup Warehouse"
- Important: Check "Fulfill online orders from this location"
Detailed Guide: Setting Up Shopify Locations
Step 3: Shipping Methods Configuration
Key steps:
- Create shipping zones for your target markets
- Add shipping methods with your preferred names and pricing
You set your own shipping prices - we don't control customer pricing. However, you must map your shipping methods to Quiqup's in your integration (we will take you through this during the integration call):
Example Mapping Table:
| Your Shipping Method | Quiqup Service | Service Area |
|---|---|---|
| Next Day Delivery UAE | Next Day | UAE (order before 10pm) |
| Same Day Express | Same Day | Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi (order before 1pm) |
| 4 Hour Rush | 4H | Dubai only (order before 6pm) |
| International Standard | DHL International | Worldwide |
International Shipping Requirements
- Carrier Agreement Required: You must sign a separate agreement with our external carriers (DHL or Aramex) for international orders
- No Cash on Delivery: International orders must be pre-paid only
- Customs and Duties: By default the shipments are DDU (customer pays delivery and duties charges). You can request DDP by setting up international shipping profiles in Quiqdash or contacting your account manager for more information
Shopify Shipping Methods Setup +
Steps:
- Go to Settings → Shipping and delivery
- Create shipping zones for your target markets
- Add shipping methods with your preferred names and pricing
Example Setup:
- Next Day Delivery UAE → Maps to our "Next Day" service

Detailed Guides:
Additional notes:
- You need to enable international markets if you want to set up shipping options for those markets. This is available in the main navigation menu → Markets
- Once you have multiple locations active to fulfill online orders, you will also need to verify Shopify's order routing logic. For more information: Shopify Order Routing
WooCommerce Shipping Methods Setup +
Steps:
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping
- Create shipping zones for your target regions
- Add shipping methods within each zone
Example Setup:
- UAE Next Day → Maps to our "Next Day" service
- UAE Same Day → Maps to our "Same Day" service
- UAE Express 4H → Maps to our "4H" service
- International DHL → Maps to our "DHL International" service
Detailed Guides:
⚠️ Important: If you add any new shipping methods after initial integration, you must go into Quiqdash - Integrations and your integration's settings to add the mapping of this shipping method. Without this, we will not receive orders associated with new shipping methods on your e-commerce platform.
Step 4: Setting up "Cash on Delivery"
Key steps:
Identify which payment methods should be treated as "Cash on Delivery":
- Typically: "Cash on Delivery" or "Pay on Delivery" options have to be enabled at check-out
- All other methods (credit card, PayPal, etc.) are treated as pre-paid
Shopify Cash on Delivery +
You can enable "Cash on Delivery" as a payment option in Shopify under Settings - Payments.
An order is considered as "Cash on Delivery" by Quiqup if the "payment_gateway_names" contains one of the following:
- Cash on Delivery
- Cash on Delivery (COD)
- COD
- Pay on Delivery
- Payment on Delivery
- Cash on Delivery (Pay on Delivery)
- Cash on Delivery (COD) (Pay on Delivery)
It is also considering as COD if the "financial_status" is "pending", as long as the "total_outstanding" is greater than 0.
Note: There is currently no support on Shopify to add fees for "Cash on Delivery" orders. Most of our clients have installed a third-party plugin called ReleaseIt Cash on Delivery in order to add a fee. This requires you setting this up with the third party provider, and ensuring that the product they create for cash on delivery is a virtual product not sent to our system.
Helpful Guides:
WooCommerce Cash on Delivery +
Steps in Woo-Commerce:
- Navigate to: WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Take offline payments.
- Click the Enable button for Cash on Delivery.
- After enabling, click the Manage button to access the Cash on Delivery configuration settings.
Quiqup considers an order to be "cash on delivery" from Woo-Commerce as long as the "DatePaid" field is empty.

Step 5: Bundle Products (If Applicable)
This section is applicable if you are selling bundled products only.
Quiqup has developed its own bundle management integration within Quiqdash for clients who wish to keep bundles as single SKUs on their e-commerce platform (this is usually the case for WooCommerce). You can login to Quiqdash, and find the bundle management module under the Fulfillment tab. Click here to open the article related to setting bundles within Quiqup.
Available inventory for your bundle set up in Quiqdash will be determined by the lowest inventory level of each component SKU.
If you are on Shopify, you can also manage bundles directly on Shopify using third party products. Most of our clients on Shopify are currently using the Shopify Bundles App
